About

I like following ideas before I fully understand them, especially the ones that make the familiar feel strange, or the strange feel strangely familiar.

I’m an Estonian filmmaker based in London, working across directing and sound.
My work explores awe, longing, nature, and the peculiar poetry of ordinary life, using rhythm, sound, silence, bodily movement and repetition to create films that resist easy answers and make space for the inexplicable.

I like making things that don’t necessarily explain themselves, but stay with you.

My background spans production, cinematography, editing and sound, giving me a fairly obsessive interest in every part of how a film comes together. I’ve directed narrative short films, documentaries and brand work, including August, which was selected for PÖFF Shorts 2024.
